Danny and Ron’s Rescue
Since 2005, Danny and Ron’s Rescue has rehabilitated and placed more than 11,000 dogs in loving homes. Founded by longtime equestrians Danny Robertshaw and Ron Danta, who have turned their home into a safe haven for dogs in need, the rescue was featured in the documentary “Life in the Doghouse.”
Green is the New Blue
Green is the New Blue is a non-profit that strives to reduce the environmental impacts of equine-related events and activities. Educating the equine industry about best practices for sustainability and ecological safety, Green is the New Blue provides horse show managers, farm owners, and equestrian enthusiasts with easy-to-implement tools to incorporate green practices into their daily operations—making an impact that’s even greater than that of a blue ribbon.
The Peeps Foundation
Founded by professional hunter-jumper riders Josh Dolan and Alex Granato, The Peeps Foundation is dedicated to helping miniature horses in need. This non-profit organization rescues and rehomes minis in need of care and new homes as well as offers “The Sanctuary,” which provides long-term care for minis with special needs. The Peeps Foundation has rescued hundreds of minis, including dwarf minis, giving them the best shot at a healthy, sound life.
